National Digital Twin NZ

Friday 2:10pm - 2:40pm, IT Professionals NZ (Wairau Room)

Digital twins provide a virtual impression of the physical world, giving us insights to allow us to understand, explore and predict in new ways. At a national level, this could help us solve some of the problems we currently face, from housing to water quality and climate change. Across New Zealand, there are a range of different organisations with different datasets, measuring different parts of our country and developing different models.

National digital twins bring this data together to form a more complete, more holistic representation of our country.

Aimee will talk about NZ's first national digital twin symposium (August 2019), what we learned, and next steps.
