Chartered IT Professional NZ and CTech: What is it and why?

Thursday 3:40pm - 4:10pm, IT Professionals NZ (Wairau Room)

You may have heard of Chartered IT Professional NZ (CITPNZ) and Certified Technologist (CTech), the two professional certifications offered by ITP.

But what are they and why do they matter?

This talk looks at the origins of professional certification, where tech is on the pathway to becoming a recognised profession (rather than just an occupation), work being undertaken around the world, and why you consider it.
