The ITx Rutherford 2019 Programme may change without notice

Engaging schools with the tech sector and taking out a CIO Award while we are at it.

Friday 12:20pm - 12:50pm, Shared Workshops (Catalyst Room 5)

IT Professionals NZ operates a number of initiatives on behalf of the IT Industry in the education space, focused on engaging and inspiring students about IT related careers. These programmes also support NZ schools and kura with the implementation of the new Digital Technologies and Hungarau Matahiko curriculum content.

Amongst these programmes you will find the long standing and very successful Techhub In Schools programme and the "Engaging NZ in Technology" category winner at the 2019 CIO Awards, Tahi Rua Toru Tech (123Tech)

These work programmes are only possible with the help and support of volunteer time from IT Professionals all around NZ

Join ITP Deputy CE Joy Keene for a relaxed session, reviewing the difference that these programmes have made and the many ways that you, your team and your organisation can get involved.
