Relationships in Agile software development projects: Team members views

During software development a variety approaches can be used for development, including Agile methods. Literature suggests different contributing factors to the success and failure of the project. One contributor factor suggested is the different types of relationship between the software development teams and the customer representative in Agile software development projects. This study reports on analysis of the views of Agile software development team members on the nature of the relationships in their projects. Seventy- three responses were gathered and analysed. Respondents reported factors impacting the relationship are collaboration, transparency, clear communication and trust. This research will contribute to understanding how to get positive project outcomes.
