Te Ao Māori and Te Tiriti Applied to an AI Sentient

While AI is attracting a number of ethical considerations, Indigenous voices in AI are being ignored. This presentation will introduce a traditional Māori perspective of Māori Data and how applying Māori Data to AI and how Te Tiriti principles should be applied in the design and production stages.
This presentation will then discuss the tikanga of an AI that claims to be a sentient and how it could be considered in te Ao Māori.
