Employer Brands: what sets your company apart?

Friday 12:20pm - 12:50pm, ITPNZ (Escrow Room 1)

The 2019 Randstad Employer Brand Research, a global survey of more than 200,000 working-age adults in 32 countries, tells us that money isn’t the only factor that makes an employer attractive.

The research dives into what drivers people find attractive in an employer. In this presentation, Randstad will share the factors that draw talent to the ICT sector in New Zealand, and globally.

This report will give you insights into:

- The attributes that job seekers value most in a company.
- What makes employees stay with your company, and what deters them.
- The attractiveness of the ICT sector and how it compares to other sectors.

An employer brand represents the image a company projects as a potential employer. If you have a strong employer brand and unique value proposition, your company is considered a distinctive place to work, with attractive brand values and career prospects. In today's fiercely competitive job market, establishing and maintaining a consistent employer brand is a crucial tool for attracting and retaining the right kind of talent in the long-term.

Along with the Employer Brand Research, Randstad will share details of the imminent arrival of Google for Jobs, one of the most significant developments of recent years in the area of job searching. Google for Jobs is a platform with the potential to transform how companies engage with candidates and how job seekers find new opportunities.
