Application for student ITx funding

IT Professionals NZ (ITP) and InternetNZ are working together to fully fund 25 registrations to the upcoming ITx Rutherford Conference for full-time tertiary students in New Zealand.

ITx Rutherford 2019 is on Wednesday 9th October to Friday 11th October in Nelson, which is within most tertiary institution's holiday period. The funding provided covers a full conference registration for the main conference including social events, as well as the Innovation Tour and Welcome Function on Wednesday afternoon and evening.

Note that students will need to cover their own travel (if reqd), accommodation, and other costs.

Applications will be selected and approved based on:

1. Applicant being full-time students at a New Zealand tertiary institution, and not otherwise being in a position to attend ITx Rutherford 2019.
2. Applicants being able to clearly articulate how attending the conference will help with their study and future career prospects within the industry.
3. The selection process will ensure a reasonable level of (1) gender and cultural diversity and (2) attendees from multiple tertiary institutions.
4. An element of "first-in, first served" for those meeting the other criteria.

Applications will close at 12pm on Tuesday 24 September 2019 and successful applicants will be informed asap but definitely before the end of September.
